COMEDIAN KRISTIN ANDERSON! May 31st 7-9PM
Please join us for a fun evening with neighbors, friends, and other supporters of Linden Hills Power & Light. Featuring the comedic antics of Kristin Anderson, a silent auction, and refreshments (why YES if you are over 21, that IS code for booze!). Proceeds from the event will support the programs and activities of LHP&L, a neighborhood-based nonprofit organization aiming to shrink our local carbon footprint through education, community engagement and action. LHP&L promotes sustainable energy, waste reduction and energy conservation by bringing new and innovative programs, or best practices from established programs, to our neighborhood, city and surrounding organizations.
Kristin Anderson stepped on stage as a comedian at age 19 and quickly decided that comedy was easier and much more fun than going to college. Education smeducation! The road was the life for her. Six months later she was on the road full time and getting an education of a different sort. During this time Kristin had the opportunity to work with some of the best in the business: Louie Anderson, Jerry Seinfeld, Ray Romano, Larry Miller, Mitch Hedberg, Lewis Black and Kathleen Madigan.
